Captain Vineet Kumar Rai, Founder and Managing Director of Divyam Resorts, is the driving force behind its vision and ethos. The inspiration for the resort was born during his visit to the sacred Neelkanth Mandir—an experience that sparked a deeper journey towards creating a space dedicated to service, purpose, and opportunity.
He began his professional journey in the Merchant Navy, serving on cruise ships and traveling across the world’s oceans. This global exposure to hospitality and service excellence shaped his understanding of guest experiences at an international level.
Bringing together his rich maritime background and passion for service, he envisioned Divyam Resorts as more than a destination—it is a heartfelt initiative to create opportunities for the people of Uttarakhand while offering guests a refined, soulful, and memorable experience rooted in the serenity of this divine land.

Blending his technical expertise with a passion for exploration, he has channeled his diverse experiences into the hospitality industry.
